We were fortunate enough to be able to spend the MOST special afternoon with a group of the happiest, most gorgeous and talented little kiddoes when we got involved with the SEED FUND charity at the Malaka Road Informal Settlement in Red Hill. The Seed Fund is devoted to equipping a community and people who have been born into poverty, with a specific focus on vulnerable children, with the life skills and mindset that will enable them to shift from a downward spiralling life of sickness, crime, drugs and alcoholism – to a life of prosperity and purpose!

We learned a few new Zulu songs, some of us attempted the Jerusalema challenge (let’s just say the kids rocked it, and we won’t be quitting our day jobs any time soon!), and we had a completely humbling experience when donating toys, clothes, books and food to these young souls, who don’t have much, but are still so content.
